The Commons is owned by Ethan Snyder. Ethan pivoted careers in 2019 to landscaping construction and gardening and hasn’t looked back since. He is a full-phased licensed landscape contractor, trained in fine pruning, and obsessive about details.

ONGOING CARE
Attentive, regular visits that keep your yard healthy and looking its best. This includes plant diagnostics and care, mowing and edging, expert pruning, no-spray weed control, and soil health improvements. Services start at $550/month.
PLANTINGS
Planting design, sourcing, and installation. Plantings are chosen to thrive in PNW, and every install comes with the knowledge to care for the plants as they settle in. The plan starts with your vision and thoughtfully considers color palette, texture, sequential bloom times, and ecological value.
HARDSCAPING
We design and build patios, pathways, and outdoor features that suit your landscape and how you live outside. We take the fundamentals like grading and drainage seriously, so the space is functional season after season.
PRUNING
Pruning for small and medium trees to highlight attributes including branch structure, bark, bloom. The approach follows the tree's character and how it sits in the larger landscape. $80/hour.
GARDEN HOURS
Hands-on time to work through your project together. Laying a path or patio, planting, pruning, or whatever needs doing.
